An American writer, deeply curious about this phenomenon, embarks on a high-speed rail journey. He travels through China’s major urban clusters and economic zones, from west to east and from north to south, meeting high-speed train drivers, going on exciting adventures to tourist destinations on high-speed trains, exploring how high-speed rail is used to deliver packages, experiencing dual-city living made possible by the high-speed rail, and tagging along with rail enthusiasts as they "chase high-speed trains."
