Founded in 1953,Zhejiang University of Technology is a comprehensive key university of Zhejiang province, ZJUT can be traced back to the Zhejiang Medium Industrial School,founded in 1910, and then it changed from Hangzhou Chemical School, Hangzhou Chemical College, Zhejiang Chemical College, Zhejiang Insititue of Technology to nowadays Zhejiang University of Technology. Zhejiang Economic Management School,Hangzhou Vessel Industrial School and Zhejiang Construction Industrial School merged into ZJUT from 1994 to 2001. And it was co-established by the Zhejiang Provincial government and the Ministry of Education in 2009, In 2013, ZJUT is elected into the National 2011 project due to its Yangtze River Delta green pharmaceutical Collaborative Innovation Center. In 2015, ZJUT is ranked as 62nd among all the universities in China by The Institute of Chinese Management Science Research ｡
