Heihe University, is situated in the city of Heihe of Heilongjiang Province, where is well known as “the pearl of the north”｡ It stands next to the third biggest city in the Russian Far East –Blagoveshchensk, which is located on the other side of Heilongjiang River. Heihe University is the only ordinary undergraduate university on the Sino-Russia border. Founded in 1958, In May 2004, Heihe University was promoted as the undergraduate University, which was approved by the National Ministry of Education. In April of 2006, it started to be one of the Universities of Heilongjiang Province, and it was granted as one of the undergraduate degree granting units in 2008. It was identified as application-oriented University to cultivate specialty Units in 2010. Since 2003, Heihe University started to recruit Russia International students, provided highly qualified Chinese talents for the exchange of culture and other fields between china and Russia, it has had more than 1000 long and short-term trainee and undergraduate degree students trained.
