Beijing Sport University is one of the first universities awarded by the State Council as a key university, enjoying reputation at home and abroad. Beijing Sport University is affiliated with the State General Administration of Sport.Beijing Sport University was founded in 1953. BSU has over 1,000 faculty members, there are nearly 15,000 students on campus.Currently, Beijing Sport University has 4 national key disciplines, 1 national demonstration center of teaching experiment.BSU has established the post-doctoral station of sport science, and is an authorized university to grant doctoral and master’s degrees in the national first-class discipline of sport science. BSU has 12 undergraduate programs: physical education, sports coaching, mass sports, sport medicine, traditional Chinese sports, public utilities management, sports industry management, journalism, applied psychology, English, performance and sport rehabilitation & health, including 3 national featured programs. Beijing Sport University has set up all together 36 continuing education teaching stations in 19 provinces and cities, Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and Korea.
