Hunan Normal University, formerly called National Teacher’ College which was founded in 1938, is located in Changsha, the capital of Hunan Province and a famous city with a long history and rich culture. As a national 211 Project school, one of the country’s 100 leading universities, the university enjoys priority in obtaining national funds. It is the best and largest provincial university in Hunan, one of the top 10 normal universities in China and 20 best universities in South China. Hunan Normal University consists of 24 colleges and 3 individual teaching departments, which offer 78 bachelor programs, 184 master programs and 110 doctoral programs.
